Since 2005, The Melin Community Trust  (formally MCC ) has raised funds to purchase and organise the Melin Christmas Lights from Stockhams roundabout to the start of Briton Ferry. This filled in the dark strip between the funded Neath Town Council lights and Briton Ferry town council Lights. (only 2020 was missed)

Last year we were unable to make this happen due to COVID 19, If you would like to see the lights up this year, then we will need your cooperation to see this happen we would like to brighten up everyone’s faces, as little things can mean a lot.  We will provide the lights, but it will cost just £120 per lamp post to install, and maintain.

So why not sponsor a festive lamp post or if not we accept general donations.
